Pure nickel semi-hard nickel strip, is an intermediate state (temper) strip with both strength and formability obtained through a precision cold rolling process and heat treatment control based on pure nickel (nickel). Its core grades include Chinese standard N6 and N4 and internationally used UNS N02200 (Ni200) and UNS N02201 (Ni201). This material is made of high-purity electrolytic nickel as raw material and is made through vacuum melting, forging, and multi-pass cold rolling. The nickel content can be as high as 99.5% or more, ensuring the purity and stability of the matrix properties.

The semi-hard state is the intermediate state among the three basic supply states of pure nickel strip. Its microstructure is between cold work hardening and partial recrystallization, which is achieved by precisely controlling the amount of cold rolling deformation (about 20%-30%) or combining it with the final annealing process. This unique process gives it excellent comprehensive properties: the hardness (Vickers hardness) is usually controlled between HV 140 and 180, and the tensile strength can reach 450-580 MPa, while the elongation remains at about 15%-25%. This allows it to not only overcome the shortcomings of soft nickel strips that are insufficient in strength and easy to deform but also avoid the problems of hard nickel strips that are difficult to stamp due to severe work hardening and high brittleness.

In appearance, the semi-hard nickel strip has a silver-white metallic luster. The surface has been cold-rolled and brightened, making it smooth without an oxide layer, cracks, or burrs. Its execution standards strictly follow GB/T 2072-2020, "Nickel and Nickel Alloy Strip Foil" or American ASTM B162 and other specifications, ensuring global mutual recognition of product dimensional accuracy and chemical composition. As a key precision functional material, it is not only the core conductive material of new energy battery components but also an indispensable structural and functional component in the fields of electronics, the chemical industry, and electric vacuum.
