Riveted Tungsten Boat

The riveted tungsten vessel is a heavy-duty, high-temperature-resistant tungsten container for holding or evaporating substances. It is assembled by cold riveting of high-purity rolled tungsten plates and solid tungsten rivets of the same material, without any high-temperature welding or bending stress concentration throughout the process.

It can be integrated with the riveted punched cover plate through one-piece molding.

 

 

 

1.Extra-large size, large volume, heavy-load bearing is not restricted by stamping molds or bending dimensions. It can be made into ultra-wide, ultra-long, deep-slot, with edge bands, multi-layer material baskets structures. Thickened plates + multi-point rivet locking can bear tens of kilograms of powder, and is not prone to collapse or deformation. It is a heavy-load bearing solution that cannot be replaced by folding or small-scale stamping boats.

2. The cold riveting process has no weld defects. The entire process is carried out at room temperature with mechanical locking, and there are no welding tungsten boat weld defects such as bubbles, slag inclusions, or high-temperature embrittlement layers.
No foreign welding materials are used. No impurities are released at high temperatures. It is suitable for optical coating and high-purity semiconductor production. The film layer has no pinholes or color differences.
 

3. It has a longer lifespan under thermal shock and thermal cycling conditions, without stress concentration at the folding seams. The flexible connection of the rivets can buffer the deformation caused by thermal expansion and contraction, and it is less likely to crack even under frequent temperature changes; in the long-term aluminum evaporation process, there is no interlayer penetration corrosion, and the loss is much lower than that of the folded tungsten boat.
 

4. Easy disassembly for maintenance, reducing long-term consumable costs. Bolts can be removed. Only partially damaged plates can be replaced individually, without the need for the entire unit to be scrapped; for welding boats, if the weld seams crack, they can only be replaced as a whole. In high-temperature working conditions with large quantities, the overall cost performance is better.
 

5. The structure is flexible and equipped with complete anti-splash measures. It can be directly riveted and punched with a cover plate, segmented barriers, and multi-layer partitions. When evaporating materials such as SiO and magnesium fluoride that are prone to splashing, it can effectively prevent the materials from splashing and protect the vacuum chamber.
 

6. The overall pure tungsten structure has excellent chemical stability under high temperatures. It does not react with aluminum, gold, silver, chromium or refractory powders, and can withstand long-term vacuum and high-temperature corrosion.
