Pure Tungsten gasket

The tungsten gasket is a circular or square thin sheet sealing, supporting and heat-insulating component made from W1 high-purity metallic tungsten (≥ 99.95%) and W2 industrial pure tungsten (≥ 99.92%) as raw materials.
It is produced through powder sintering, forging, wire cutting, precision grinding, and mirror polishing. It is also commonly referred to as tungsten gasket, tungsten guard plate, or vacuum tungsten sealing gasket.
Pure tungsten gaskets have a high temperature resistance of 3422℃ and are suitable for vacuum, high-temperature furnaces, and electronic instruments. Thin-walled pure tungsten gaskets, stacked and mirror-polished tungsten gaskets, are available in multiple specifications.

Advantages of polished tungsten gaskets
1.Resistant to high-temperature crushing of molybdenum and stainless steel: The melting point of molybdenum is 2620℃, and the maximum melting point of stainless steel is 1200℃. Only tungsten can be used stably under extremely high temperature conditions
2.Higher vacuum cleanliness: The impurity content is much lower than that of molybdenum materials, and no trace impurities will be released to contaminate the vacuum chamber
3. It is corrosion-resistant and suitable for vacuum adaptation. It can withstand erosion from acids, alkalis and molten metals;
Does not stick or penetrate when aluminum, zinc, and copper are in molten state it is non-magnetic, has a low out-gassing rate, and is suitable for sealing of ultra-high vacuum chambers and insulation and isolation of electron guns .
4.Dimensional stability: No deformation or creep at high temperatures, and the thickness tolerance remains stable even after repeated heating and cooling over a long period
5. The surface is uniformly conductive and heat-conductive. After surface polishing, the contact resistance is extremely low. It can be used as electrode pads or insulation and heat-conductive isolation sheets, and has good consistency in terms of heat generation and conductivity.
6. The precision dimensions have a thickness tolerance of ±0.002 to ±0.01mm, and the concentricity of the inner and outer circles is ≤0.005mm. There are three surface options: rough matte finish of the blank, fine grinding gray finish, and mirror-like bright polishing.
7. Longer service life: No oxidation or peeling in the vacuum high-temperature environment, and the replacement cycle is increased by 3 to 5 times.
