Nb1 pure niobium foil is a thin, high-end metal material made of high-purity metal niobium (chemical symbol Nb) as raw material and processed through multiple precision rolling processes. Nb1 is the highest-purity industrial pure niobium brand specified in my country's national standard GB/T 3630-2019. The niobium content is not less than 99.95%, and the total impurity content is controlled within 500 ppm. It represents the top quality among niobium foil materials.

Niobium itself is a silver-grey rare refractory metal belonging to the VB group of the periodic table of elements, with an atomic number of 41 and a density of 8.57 g/cm³. The thickness of pure niobium foil can be as thin as microns, and the thinnest can be 0.01 mm or even lower while maintaining excellent ductility and processing properties. Nb₁ niobium foil will naturally form a dense and stable Nb₂O₅ passivation film on the surface at room temperature. This "natural protective layer" gives the material excellent corrosion resistance.

Compared with ordinary industrial pure niobium (such as Nb₂), Nb₁ has more stringent standards for purity control-oxygen content ≤ 0.02%, nitrogen content ≤ 0.01%, and carbon content ≤ 0.01%. At the same time, there are also strict limits on the individual content of metal impurities such as tantalum, iron, tungsten, and titanium. This pursuit of ultimate purity enables Nb1 niobium foil to show irreplaceable advantages in superconducting performance, low-temperature toughness, and processing consistency.
