Forged Gr5 Titanium Bar
Processed by high-temperature free forging or die forging, the material has a dense structure and stable performance, suitable for large-size and high-strength requirements. Diameter range: 60mm-800mm, maximum up to 800mm; Application: Aerospace connecting shafts, pressure vessel components, metallurgical molds and other heavy-duty structural parts.
Rolled Gr5 Titanium Bar
Produced by hot rolling or cold rolling, with high dimensional accuracy and consistency, suitable for batch production of small and medium-sized specifications. Diameter range: 10mm-100mm; Surface condition is good, dimensional control is precise; Application: Standard parts processing, precision shafts, medical non-implant parts, equipment support structures.
Extruded Gr5 Titanium Bar
Extruded by high-temperature dies, with good dimensional stability and uniform internal structure, suitable for small-diameter bar manufacturing. Diameter range: 6mm-60mm; Application: Fasteners, medical tools, slender small-diameter precision parts.

Processing Technology & Quality Control
1.Production Process
Raw Material Selection: High-purity sponge titanium and Al-V intermediate alloy are selected to ensure the purity of raw materials and the accuracy of chemical composition.
Melting: Adopt vacuum self-consumption electrode arc furnace (VAR) for at least two times of melting; engine rotor parts adopt three times of melting; high-purity products adopt electron beam cold hearth melting (EBCHM) to remove impurities and ensure uniform composition.
Hot Working: Forging, rolling or extrusion in α-β two-phase zone (850-950℃) or β phase zone (≥995℃), with deformation amount >50% requiring intermediate annealing to eliminate internal stress.
Heat Treatment: Annealing (700-800℃, 1-2 hours, air cooling) to eliminate residual stress and obtain uniform structure; solid solution aging treatment (STA) to improve strength; vacuum annealing for complex parts to prevent oxidation.
Surface Treatment: Polishing, turning, sandblasting and other treatments to meet different surface roughness requirements, improve product appearance and corrosion resistance.
Inspection & Testing: Conduct chemical composition analysis, mechanical performance testing, flaw detection (ultrasonic, eddy current), dimensional inspection, etc., to ensure product qualification.
2.Quality Control
We have a complete quality control system, from raw material inspection to finished product delivery, to achieve full-process monitoring:
Raw material inspection: Strictly inspect the purity and chemical composition of sponge titanium and intermediate alloy to ensure that they meet the standard requirements.
Process inspection: Monitor the temperature, deformation and other parameters during melting, forging, rolling and heat treatment to ensure stable process.
Finished product inspection: Conduct tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, hardness and other mechanical performance tests; use ultrasonic flaw detection to check internal defects; strictly inspect dimensions and surface quality.
Certification guarantee: Provide MTC material certification, ISO 9001, AS 9100 and other certifications, and support third-party inspection (SGS, Intertek, etc.) according to customer requirements.
