    In modern chromatography (HPLC), high-end biomedical implants (such as marker rings, vascular stents), semiconductor ultra-pure microfluidic chips, and high-temperature temperature sensors, the diameter of the fluid channel is usually miniaturized to the millimeter or even micron level. In such a very small space, the fluid puts forward extremely stringent requirements on material corrosion, microflow resistance, metal ion precipitation pollution (Leaching) and pressure limit.

    As shown by reference to figure, our high-performance seamless pure tantalum capillary tubes (High-Precision Seamless Tantalum Capillary Tubes) strictly use 100% high-purity R05200 pure tantalum (purity ≥ 99. 95%) that has been smelted multiple times by high vacuum electron beam (EB) as the base material. After multi-pass Cold Drawing (Cold Drawing) and precision micro-wall reduction molding, combined with multi-stage high vacuum annealing in the middle, the product not only precisely controls the size tolerance at the micron level, but also achieves ultra-high flatness and crack-free micro-morphology. This series of capillaries is extremely biocompatible to the human body and can resist strong acids for life. It is an indispensable physical channel for cutting-edge fluid and electrode systems.

I. Excellent core advantages (Elite Engineering Advantages)

    Ultra-high dimensional accuracy and uniform wall thickness (Micron-Level Tolerances): As shown in the figure, the inner diameter (ID) and outer diameter (OD) tolerances of our tantalum capillary tubes can be precisely controlled within ± 0.01 mm or even ± 0.005 mm. The extremely uniform wall thickness ensures that the pipe will not cause thermal deformation or stress rupture due to local wall thinness when it passes through high pressure and high flow rate corrosive media.

    Nano-level flatness and super-low fluid resistance (Super-Smooth Inner Surface): With special drawing die and super-lubricating molding technology, the tantalum pipe is as smooth as a mirror, without mechanical scratches, wrinkles or stretch marks. This not only greatly increases the turbulence and flow resistance in the fluid microchannel, but also effectively prevents the physical adsorption residue of trace chemical molecules or proteins in the sample, and prevents cross-contamination of detection signals.

    Excellent molding plasticity and Burr-Free flush end face (Burr-Free & Formable Ends): Our capillary tubes are in a fully annealed soft state (Annealed State), with an elongation rate of up to 25%, which can be used by customers for later bending, flaring, shrinking or crimping with high-pressure joints with a very small radius. The end face of all factory pipe fittings has been processed by precision grinding and ultrasonic deburring, and the incision is flat, which perfectly matches the non-destructive assembly of medical and precision instruments.

III. Lean cold drawing process and surface ultra-clean control (Manufacturing Process)

    Seamless Piercing & Multi-Pass Drawing: Taking R05200 high-purity seamless tantalum tube blank as the starting point, it has been processed by multi-stage precision cold drawing with more than 20 passes and micro-deformation. Grain state tracking is carried out after each drawing pass to ensure that no micro-tensile delamination occurs.

    High-Vacuum Interstage Annealing: Before each drawing reaches the critical cold work hardening point, the semi-finished product is sent to a high-vacuum annealing furnace, and the vacuum degree is higher than10-3 Pa. Uniform annealing in the furnace temperature, re-refining the grain and releasing lattice distortion to maintain the perfect elongation required for subsequent fine drawing.

    High-precision inner hole polishing and pickling activation (Inner Surface CMP/Passivation): Multistage micro-polishing and pickling of capillary tubes are carried out by using special ultra-fine high-pressure fluid abrasives or mixed acid solutions (HF-HNO3). A thin layer of dense and extremely uniform tantalum pentoxide (Ta2O5) inert protective film is produced by chemical peeling off the uneven residue of the surface layer.

    CNC non-destructive fixed-length cutting and flush end face (Precision Cutting & Deburring): Introduce precision CNC water jet cutting or stress-free micro-cutting, the notch is flush and the same roundness is good. It undergoes proprietary ultrasonic deep degreasing and drying, and conducts high-fold microscopic examination (100% dead-angle-free end face and internal hole flash inspection) under a 100-level Clean Bench (Clean Bench).
