Product introduction
in non-ferrous metals
Pure nickel crucibles are made of high-purity electrolytic nickel as raw material and are precisely processed through multiple processes of "electrolytic nickel-forging-turning-stamping/spinning." The main supply types include stamped crucibles, sintered crucibles, spinning crucibles, and welded crucibles. This product focuses on stamping molding technology and one-time stretch molding. The product is durable, has uniform wall thickness, and has accurate test results.
A pure nickel crucible has the following core features:
High temperature resistance: The melting point of nickel is 1455°C, and pure nickel crucibles can maintain strength and stability in environments up to 1000°C; when the conventional melt temperature is around 700°C, excessive oxidation of nickel can be effectively avoided.
Corrosion resistance: Pure nickel has good corrosion resistance to NaOH, Na₂O₂, Na₂CO₃, NaHCO₃, and alkaline solvents containing KNO₃ and can work stably in NaOH solutions of any concentration and temperature.
Excellent mechanical properties: the tensile strength of pure nickel material is ≥380 MPa, the elongation is ≥35%, the hardness is HRB 65-75, and the deformation in the high-temperature creep test at 1000°C/100 h is ≤0.2%, fully ensuring the dimensional stability under high-temperature conditions.
Good processing ductility: Nickel has excellent ductility, good welding performance, and stamping performance. Various special-shaped parts can be designed and produced according to the actual needs of users.
The product supply status is flexible, and it can provide standard specifications off-the-shelf supply and can also accept customized processing according to customer needs with drawings and samples to meet the differentiated needs of different application scenarios.

Product Features
High-purity nickel material, quality assurance
This product uses high-quality electrolytic nickel as a raw material, with a purity of up to 99.6%-99.99%. It has high nickel content and low impurity content, effectively avoiding the contamination of smelting samples or molten metal by impurity elements. The product has undergone strict chemical composition analysis and testing. The carbon content is ≤0.03%, and the sulfur and phosphorus impurities are ≤0.005% to ensure that no interfering impurities are introduced into the crucible body.
Stamping moulding process, high structural strength
Compared with traditional welded crucibles, the stamping forming process allows the crucible to be stretched and formed in one go, with uniform wall thickness, no weld defects, less prone to deformation and cracking under high temperature conditions, and longer service life. After high-temperature creep performance testing, the deformation amount is ≤0.2% under the condition of 1000℃/100h.
Excellent alkali corrosion resistance
Pure nickel materials show excellent corrosion resistance in NaOH solutions of any concentration and temperature, as well as in molten NaOH above 400°C. It also has good tolerance to Na₂O₂, Na₂CO₃, NaHCO₃, and alkaline solutions or molten liquids containing KNO₃, making it an ideal container for alkaline smelting environments.
Good high-temperature mechanical properties
The tensile strength of pure nickel material is ≥380MPa, and the elongation is ≥35%. It has both strength and toughness and is not easy to break under high temperature conditions. The moderate hardness of HRB 65-75 ensures that the crucible is not easily damaged by bumps during operation.
Complete customised services
It can provide a variety of standard specifications such as 30ml, 50ml, 100ml, 200ml, 400ml, 500ml, etc. Special-shaped parts of any size and shape can also be customised according to customer requirements. Whether it is used in small batches in the laboratory or purchased in large quantities for industrial production, the production cycle can be flexibly arranged.
High cost performance and low maintenance cost
Compared with precious metal crucibles such as platinum crucibles, pure nickel crucibles provide excellent alkaline smelting performance at a lower cost and are an ideal alternative for alkaline flux melting treatments. Through scientific use and maintenance methods, pure nickel crucibles can have a long service life, and the actual service life can reach more than 8-12 months.
Product Application
Pure nickel crucibles are widely used in the following fields due to their excellent high-temperature resistance, alkali corrosion resistance, and good mechanical properties:

Metallurgical industry
Pure nickel crucibles are often used in the smelting of iron alloys, as well as the smelting and purification of some rare metals and precious metals. The stamped pure nickel crucible has a uniform structure and no welds, which can avoid crucible cracking and leakage of molten metal caused by weld defects during the smelting process, ensuring the safety and continuity of the smelting operation.
Chemical analysis laboratory
In inorganic chemistry experiments, pure nickel crucibles are often used for alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, and other related experimental operations, especially suitable for heating and melting strong alkaline substances such as potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide. When it is necessary to analyse the composition of ore samples, slag, etc., it is also a very common method to melt the samples together with alkaline flux in a nickel crucible at high temperature.

Materials industry
In the glass, ceramics, and other material industries, pure nickel crucibles are used to contain high-temperature glass raw materials, ceramic glazes, etc., for melting, mixing, and other processing operations. The corrosion resistance of pure nickel crucibles ensures that no additional metal impurities are introduced, ensuring consistent product quality.
Refractory and clay analysis
Nickel crucible has good melting processing capabilities for refractory and clay samples, and is widely used for sample preparation and composition analysis in the refractory industry.

Adapt to an alkaline flux environment
A pure nickel crucible is suitable for melting samples of NaOH, Na₂O₂, Na₂CO₃, NaHCO₃, and alkaline solvents containing KNO₃, and can meet most alkaline smelting needs.
Applicable temperature range
The working temperature of the nickel crucible can reach 700-1000°C. It is suitable for high-temperature sintering, drying, and heat treatment processes in muffle furnaces, and can also be used for metal melting in scenarios such as induction heating.

Packaging and Logistics

FAQ
The melting point of nickel is 1455°C, but pure nickel crucibles are easily oxidised at high temperatures, so the recommended melting temperature should not exceed 700°C. Under special working conditions, the short-term use temperature can withstand up to 1000°C. If the temperature exceeds 700℃ for a long time, it is recommended to check the oxidation condition of the crucible surface regularly and replace it in time.
Nickel crucible is suitable for molten samples of NaOH, Na₂O₂, Na₂CO₃, NaHCO₃, and alkaline solvents containing KNO₃. Not suitable for acidic solvents such as KHSO₄, NaHSO₄, K₂S₂O₇, Na₂S₂O₇, and sulfur-containing alkaline sulfide fluxes. In addition, metal salts such as Al, Zn, Pb, Sn, and Hg in the molten state can make the nickel crucible brittle, and compounds of silver, mercury, vanadium, and borax cannot be burned in the nickel crucible.
We provide stamped pure nickel crucibles in various standard specifications from 30ml to 500ml.
