In the hot rolling and piercing process of modern high-end seamless steel pipes (especially stainless steel, heat-resistant alloy steel and high-grade special steel pipes), the life and stability of rolling tools directly determine the production cost of the finished product and the enterprise. When the steel plug is faced with high temperature above 1200 ℃, thermal shock and high strength machinery, it is very easy to stick to steel, deform or crack.

Manufacturing Process
We adopt a rigorous powder metallurgy and precision machining process to eliminate internal pores and porosity from the source:
Raw material ratio and mixing (Powder Mixing): Select high-purity molybdenum powder and trace rare earth/TZM strengthening elements, and carry out efficient homogenization mixing for several hours.
Cold Isostatic Pressing: Large tonnage molding or isostatic pressing is used to ensure uniform green body density.
High-Temperature Sintering: High-Temperature Sintering in an advanced hydrogen-protected furnace to achieve grain reconstruction.
Precision Machining (Machining & Threading): Through CNC lathes and special thread processing equipment, the geometric tolerance of the plug and the fit accuracy with the mandrel are ensured.
Inspection & Packaging: Strictly carry out dimensional tolerance, flaw detection and density detection, and use moisture-proof vacuum wooden box Packaging.
Mechanical Properties & Standards
Implementation standards: Compliance with ASTM B387 (standards for molybdenum and molybdenum alloy bars and billets) and corporate strict control and internal control standards.
